New FBI-released footage of the Capitol attack shows suspects beating officers with knuckles and batons
In hopes of identifying and arresting the remaining participants in the attack on the Capitol building in Washington, the FBI released additional clips of the suspects.
The first of two videos of the alleged suspects shows a man on the wanted list as number 134. The suspect wears gloves with metal elements, which the FBI claims were used to inflict damage on officers by simulating knuckles.
Suspect #134 reportedly beat the officers and pulled them into the crowd so that those rioters would join the fray. However, 4 months after the Capitol attack, the FBI was unable to identify the man.
The second video shows suspect #106 attacking officers in an attempt to rip off their gas mask and take away their tactical baton. The list of charges says that he did manage to take the officer's weapon and use it against them.
According to the latest FBI information, the total number of arrested suspects in the capture of the Capitol is 440 people. Basically, the main informants were the family and friends of the people who attacked the Capitol building.
