The special and preliminary election results for Lyon County in Kansas are now available.
Republican Jeff Colyer has won primaries as a nominee for the party’s candidate for Governor with the result of 1090 votes. However, statewide, he lost to his opponent, Kris Kobach, for less than a thousand votes. The Democrats, both statewide and locally, have chosen Laura Kelly for the same position in turn.
For the U.S. House 1st District the victorious nominee was Roger Marshall: in Lyon County he has gained 2426 votes, statewide his result was equal to 59301 votes.
