900 people per day leaving NY and NJ to Florida because of Taxes
Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis explained why a number of blue states are doomed to extinction. In his opinion, the tax systems in New York, New Jersey and California are aimed at ruining their own citizens.
In a short interview with Fox News, Patronis called New York and New Jersey “tax hell” for the people and now, the population of Florida and Texas is growing non-stop.
“Those states (New York and New Jersey) are "financial train wrecks". They are "upside down". They then decide to leave the tax hell that those states are in and move to the state of Florida,” Patronis said. "If you’ve got a couple, let’s just talk about the empty nesters from New York, or the empty nesters from New Jersey… They then decide to leave the tax hell that those states are in and move to the state of Florida".
Due to the massive outflow of residents, New York and California have lost their seats in Congress, and if the situation does not change, New Yorkers and Californians will continue to seek better living conditions in the red states, thereby ensuring the advantage of the Republican Party.
The Freedom Week Tax Holiday is another home run for Florida. Unlike high-tax states like NY, NJ, & CA (which are tax hells), the Sunshine State is open for business & we’re working everyday to keep more money in your pocket.
