The 29-year-old Michigan was charged for shooting a child. A 6-year-old boy was playing with his family and was shot by a neighbor for trying to ride his bike away from someone else's yard.

The shooter was identified as Ryan Le-Nguyen. The victim, Coby Daniel, was wounded in the arm. The incident occurred on the 1300 block of Candlewood Lane in Ypsilanti Township, at around 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

The moment of the shooting was captured on a doorbell video.

According to the preliminary investigation, an altercation ensued between the child and the suspect, during which Le-Nguyen used the sledgehammer to chase Daniel away. Then, the suspect entered the house and fired one shot from the window.

"He tried hitting me with a sledgehammer but that's not going to work because I'm too fast," Coby said as per the New York Post". "[Then he] got a gun and BOOM shot me right here."

Nguyen was allowed by Judge Elisha Fink of the Washtenaw County 14-A District Court to post a $10,000 bail for his release, a decision harshly criticized by county prosecutor Eli Savit early Wednesday.
