Pennsylvania authorities are investigating suspicious wave of dig deaths in the city, according to the reports.

The number of dog deaths rose in Allentown, animal control department doesn’t provide any details of the investigation, including the cause of deaths, the exact number of died dogs, and if there are any suspects in the case.

In a news release, police Capt. Michael Becker Jr. pointed out that the dog deaths occurred in the 2000 block of East Cedar Street and the surrounding area.

"This is an active and ongoing investigation. More information will be released when available," Becker said, according to LehighValleyLive.com.
