Eight people injured including two children in gun battle at Dallas strip mall
Eight people, including two children, received gunshot wounds when two groups of people started a gun battle in Dallas.
Both groups were celebrating their events at adjacent banquet halls on Sunday morning. After 12:30 the groups, each gathered in individual suites at the strip mall, open fire.
Police said at one point an argument between two groups broke out growing into a small confrontation. The gunfire erupted shortly after both groups returned to their suites.
Two injured people were ages 10 and 15, reports say. One of the juveniles was shot to the leg. One of the eight victims underwent a surgery and his condition remains unknown. No one of the rest of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries, reports said.
No arrests were reported. On early Sunday police remained on scene investigating, interviewing the witnesses and trying to identify the shooters.
