A new book describes a moment when Michael Pence once "lost it" and snarled at Trump after he threw a crumbled newspaper article at him
This is a bit funny.
A book reveals a moment when former Vice President Mike Pence “lost it” and scolded former President Donald Trump.
The book “Frankly, We Did Win This Election” written by Wall Street Journal's reporter Michael Bender describes a small conflict that once occurred between the former president and his vice president. It happened back in earlier 2021. But the book also cites a moment that took place back in 2018 when Pence, who is described as the one who could never confront Trump, did actually confronted him.
Book officially comes out this week, but I came across copies already on display at a bookstore. https://t.co/XSeJu7X6MS— George Conway (@gtconway3d) July 10, 2021
At that time Pence already was not in the mood because Jared Kushner had asked him to hire Trump’s adviser Corey Lewandowski. Everything happened when Trump started complaining about an article in the newspaper he was holding in his hands. Trump said that the article made him look weak and that he felt like “his team was abandoning him.”
At one point, the former leader of the nation said that it was “so disloyal,” crumbled the newspaper and threw it at Pence.
According to Bender, Vice President “picked up the article and threw it back at Mr. Trump."
"He leaned toward the president and pointed a finger a few inches from his chest. 'We walked you through every detail of this,' Mr. Pence snarled. 'We did this for you — as a favor. And this is how you respond? You need to get your facts straight.'"
Mr. Pence snarled (at 45**). ‘We did this for you—as a favor. And this is how you respond? You need to get your facts straight.’”— RevRM ???????? (@Rev74205) July 10, 2021
