NYPD released a shocking video showing a 17-year-old mugger beat up a 68-year-old man before robing him in Brooklyn on Saturday.

A 17-second footage depicts the moment a teen riding a Citi Bank bike and wearing all gray punching his victim more than 10 times eventually forcing him to the ground. When the victim is not fighting back anymore and lies down motionlessly, the creep starts to ransack the man’s pockets and robs him.

The incident took place at about 9:05 a.m. on Pitkin Avenue and Barbey Street. The attacker initially demanded property from the victim and when the man tried to fight back, the brutal beating began. The teen punched and kicked the man in the face and in the body.

The thief took off west on Pitkin Ave, police source said.

The 68-year-old victim suffered a broken wrist and nose, according to the NYPD tweet.

“These are NYC streets! What used to be the safest big city sent back to the days of high crime due to failed laws that allow no consequences and embolden criminals,” tweeted the Detectives’ Endowment Association.

“Politicians in Albany and City Hall need to step up now to fix their mistakes and keep New Yorkers safe.”
