One Wounded in Nebraska Shooting
LINCOLN – August 13, 2018
One person has been wounded in another shooting case in Nebraska, local media reports.
The victim, a 20-year-old woman, is being treated for a bullet wound to the lower leg described as non-life threatening, Capt. Danny Reitan said. There are no known suspects, Reitan added.
Police were called to the 1700 block of E Street around 2 a.m. on reports of multiple gunshots. The victim was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle before officers arrived on the scene.
Shootings are becoming a very serious in the state of Nebraska, with several occuring each week, and despite this fact, the state is still considered to be relatively “quiet” compared to its neighbors.
