Huntington Beach restaurant requires proof of non-vaccination before serving a customer
It seems that the matrix malfunctioned and instead of demands to put on masks and get vaccinated, the owner of the Basilico's Pasta E Vino restaurant in Huntington Beach began to fight the government, the instinct of self-preservation and common sense.
While America is drowning in tens of thousands of new cases of Covid-19 and Delta variants, the restaurant's door is adorned with a “Proof of being UNvaccinated REQUIRED” sign.
Officially, the restaurant owner started the war against masks and the pandemic last summer, when he explained to visitors that his establishment must be at risk of getting sick with Covid-19.
“So to be clear, if you enter the restaurant for dine in, and want to wear a mask, you must remove it when sitting down. If you are standing around inside and waiting for a table, or waiting inside to pick up food for yourself or as a third party delivery driver, and you are wearing a mask, you will be asked to wait outside,” he wrote on social media, according to the OCR.
The California Department of Alcohol Beverage Control also reportedly launched an investigation into the restaurant owner and his service policy, threatening to revoke his license to sell alcohol.
Nevertheless, the restaurant continues to fight bureaucrats represented by local officials.
“We feel blessed to go into battle against all of you in defense of American liberty and freedom, so bring it on!” read its latest message posted on July 26, on Facebook.
According to official information, the restaurant was already fined $ 152,000 last month.
