14 people injured after a NYC bus slammed into a pillar of elevated subway tracks on Thursday morning.

The crash was captured on surveillance camera.

The footage shows there were initially two cars which could have ended up crashing into each other. One car on the outside lane can be seen cutting over the SUV, forcing the SUV driver to maneuver but appear on the way of the oncoming bus.

The bus in its turn has to hurl and meet the pillar on an overhead subway track.

The front part of the bus was completely smashed and the windshield fell off.

Fire Department of New York said, 14 people were taken to Jacobi Medical Center, one of the victims, a 69-year-old woman was listed as critical.

The driver of the vehicle in the outside lane reportedly told the station he did not see the other car when changing lanes.
