HUSTON, TEXAS – August 13, 2018

A global pandemic which could kill almost one billion people is approaching, apocalyptic doom-mongers have claimed.

Christian conspiracy theorists have analyzed a recent study from Germany which said that a viral attack could kill close to one billion people.

The simulation conducted by Johns Hopkins University showed that the pathogen acted in a similar manner to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) and demonstrated that it was really difficult for the governments to put an outbreak of such a disease under control.

The virus produces fever, cough and confusion in the infected. It later mutated in patients and caused encephalitis — swelling in the brain – which left individuals in a fatal coma.

After 20 months the virus, which was difficult to cure, had killed more than 150 million people in the simulation - and there is no sign of a vaccine being created.

“If efforts to create a vaccine continued to fail about 900million or nearly 10 percent of people on the planet could be killed,”  Dr Eric Toner, a senior scholar at the Johns Hopkins Center for Global Health Security and the designer of the Clade X simulation, said.

Although the pandemic outbreak was not real, the simulation was as realistic as possible. The virus used as a pattern that could plausibly exist and was created with the newest technologies and knowledge available.

The simulation was conducted, the results were announced and now, some Christian groups believe the study was a precursor to a real event, which has been highlighted in the Bible.

The conspiracy theorists point to Bible passage Luke 21:11, which reads: “There will be great earthquakes, and there will be famines and plagues in many lands, and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs from heaven.”

The website Sign Post of The Times states: “From the book of Revelation we read that war, famine and disease, (pandemics), will wipe out a quarter of the Earth's population during the first half of the Tribulation.

“Given the Earth's present population of 7.6 billion and that perhaps 600 million of those may be snatch away at the Rapture of the Church, that would suggest that somewhere around 1.75 billion people would perish, (with at least half of that number coming from pandemics if the article below is to be believed).

“Aside from the warnings of global pandemics, there are so many other things going on that indicate the shortness of the days until Christ's return.”

By the way, this is not a unique prophecy of coming Apocalypse. People on Reddit noticed that if you type the word ‘Dog’ several times into Google Translate, you will receive a message which warns of the imminent return of Jesus Christ.

To get the message, head to Google Translate and set the ‘translate from section’ to Yoruba – a west African language.

Then type ‘dog’ into the system 22 times and translate it back to English - and the creepy message will be revealed.

According to Google, the translation of 22x’dog’ is: “Doomsday Clock is three minutes at twelve.

According to Reddit, the message also appeared when you translate it from Hawaiian, but this seems to have been fixed by Google.

Experts believe the reason behind the creepy messaging is the fact that Google has started using an artificially intelligent system which learns to translate from passages of already existing texts.

Some theorise that Google may have trained its software using passages from the Bible, which is why it turns out biblical messages, according to the Register.

Others believe that NATURAL disasters and man-made terror around the globe are signs of the beginning of the end. They point to record breaking heatwaves in Europe and America. They also cited devastating earthquakes, which have killed hundreds in places including as Indonesia.

Wildfires have raged across the west coast of the United State and all of this is against a backdrop of political tension which could lead to World War 3. As a result, some self-proclaimed experts are claiming that these are signs of the endtimes.

Some CHRISTIAN and JEWISH bloggers believes that the blood moon in conjunction with the close passing of Mars could be a sign of several biblical omens, including the rapture. Some associate this with exploding stars believing that such an event could have been responsible for mass extinctions previously on Earth.

A group of militant Christians proclaimed that the beginning of the end of the world started on September 23 last year and the apocalypse will be completed on the same date in 2025.

They even pointed out an apocalyptic computer model, processed by one of the world's largest computers in 1973, which predicted the end of civilization  by 2040.

The prediction came from a program nicknamed World One, which was developed by a team of MIT researchers and processed by Australia's largest computer. The model based its predictions on trends such as pollution levels, population growth, availability of natural resources and quality of life on earth.

The eerie calculation has been remarkably accurate in certain predictions, such as a stagnated quality of life and diminishing pool of natural resources.

A fascinating forecast shows that the quality of life is expected to drop dramatically right after 2020. "At this stage, around 2040 to 2050, civilized life as we know it on this planet will cease to exist."

And then again for each year up our time there are several "prophecies", which, as you may have noticed, have not been fulfilled. The most humane prediction is that the end of the world will take place in 5 billion years. I prefer to focus on this version of events, it makes me feel better  and be more optimistic to believe we still have time.
