A Frontier Airlines passenger duct-taped to his seat after groping two female attendants and punching another one
A Frontier Airline passenger was duct-taped to his seat for his aggressive behavior on the flight from Philadelphia to Miami on Saturday.
22-year-old Maxwell Berry of Ohio allegedly groped two flight attendants and assaulted another one for which he was fixed deadly to his seat by duct-taped up to the moment when the plane landed in Miami where the young man was arrested.
The incident was filmed on a cellphone by one of other passengers. The footage shows Berry seating in the seat at the window yelling profanities and even fighting with a flight attendant.
According to the arrest report, the man asked for another drink after first two and then brushed his empty cup at the backside of a female flight attendant.
Berry spilled his drink on the seat and himself. He then went to the bathroom from which he returned shirtless and started roaming the plane for more than 10 minutes. At one point he just groped the chest of two female flight attendants.
“He came from behind and put his arm around both of them and groped their breasts again,” the arrest report reads.
The disturbance didn’t end there and Berry without a warring punched a male flight attendant who was watching over him.
When berry was being duct-taped to his seat he was screaming for help, the video shows.
Berry calmed down only when the plane was preparing for landing.
“As a result, the passenger needed to be restrained until the flight landed in Miami and law enforcement arrived,” Frontier Airlines told WPLG in a statement. “The flight attendants will be, as required in such circumstances, relieved of flying pending completion of investigation of the events.”
