CNN fired three employees for coming to work unvaccinated
Three CNN employees were dismissed for coming to work while not being vaccinated.
CNN president Jeff Zucker released an internal memo, according to which, the network had to separate with three of its employees due to they put fellow workers at risk of contracting COVID-19. The names of the fired employees and their positions were not reported.
“While we have asked for attestation to your status via Passcard, it has not been mandatory to produce a vaccine card,” he wrote. “In the past week, we have been made aware of three employees who were coming to work unvaccinated. All three have been terminated.”
The New York Times were the first to obtain and to confirm the authenticity of the momo.
Zucker also alleged that the proof of vaccination will become mandatory in coming weeks.
