The Gulfport Police Department has put a man attacked on MSNBC reporter Shaq Brewster while reporting on Hurricane Ida in Mississippi, on the wanted list. The attack took place while curfew was in effect.

The man was identified as Benjamin Eugene Dagley of Wooster, Ohio. Arrest warrants were issued charging him with simple assault, disturbance of the peace and violation of an emergency curfew.

The moment of the attack was filmed by the film crew and was broadcast live.

“Hey! Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey,” he said. “We’re going to check in with Shaq Brewster just to make sure all is well. There is a lot of crazy out there. There is a lot of crazy!”
