A preacher with a Taliban-style view of women was beaten by a woman while expressing his sexist views. The video shows a preacher with a sign saying “Women belong in the kitchen” and an angry student punching the preacher in the face.

A witness to the incident who captured it on video told AL.com the pair were carrying signs saying things to the effect that women “belong in the kitchen, they shouldn’t be in college....just really misogynistic stuff.”

It can be seen that when the sexist preacher was thrown to the ground and began to be beaten, officers intervened in the conflict.

The incident took place at the University of Alabama at Birmingham campus on Tuesday. The police said that none of the participants in the brawl were arrested. The incident is under investigation.

“There was a concerning, very unfortunate altercation on campus yesterday between demonstrators and what appeared to be a student,” a university spokesman said. “We cannot comment further at this time, as this is an ongoing investigation.”
