"It happens to everybody" Biden comments on Senator Kyrsten Sinema being harassed by left-wing activists at Arizona University restroom
Biden’s spontaneity sometimes surprises.
During a press conference on Monday, president Biden was asked about the incident with left-wing activists harassing U.S. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema at Arizona State University up to following her into a restroom while pouring questions about the Build Back Better Act.
The President as usual answered in his ingenuous and stupid manner.
"I don't think they're appropriate tactics, but it happens to everybody."
The Biden chuckled and added that, "the only people it doesn't happen to are people who have Secret Service standing around. So, it's a part of the process."
White House press Secretary Jen Psaki didn’t fall behind the president in the question about the same restroom incident.
When she was asked about Biden’s comments, Psaki said she believes that "the context of what happened here is very important" and then noted a Sinema statement in the wake of the incident backing Americans' "freedom to protest, to speak out, and to criticize."
Opposed to Biden, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer was more peremptory by saying that "following someone into a bathroom and recording them, that's over the line."
