Hillary Clinton's husband and former US president, Bill, who disgraced the United States to the whole world by having sex with Monica Lewinsky, was hospitalized with sepsis.

Doctors at the University of California Irvine Medical Center diagnosed a urinary tract infection in an advanced form, which led to blood poisoning.

"He was admitted to the ICU for close monitoring and administered IV antibiotics and fluids. He remains at the hospital for continuous monitoring," according to a joint statement Thursday evening from Dr. Alpesh Amin, according to CNN.

Clinton's sudden deterioration in health is reported to have caught him at a private event for his foundation. Despite the extensive infection, doctors managed to localize the infection and protect Bill Clinton's health.

"On Tuesday evening, President Clinton was admitted to UCI Medical Center to receive treatment for a non-Covid-related infection. He is on the mend, in good spirits, and is incredibly thankful to the doctors, nurses, and staff providing him with excellent care," Clinton spokesman Angel Urena said.
