Six people injured in a reported shooting at Park City Center of Lancaster


At least 6 people were injured in a reported shooting at the Park City Center in Pennsylvania.

The gunfire reportedly erupted inside the Park City center in Lancaster following a dispute near a food store on Sunday afternoon. Several ambulances were called to the scene at about 2:26 p.m. ET.

Police said, the situation was under control by 3 p.m. ET.

The disturbing videos from the scene show the people are trying to escape the mall after the shots rang.

According to the primarily reports, all victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries.  

"DEVELOPING: Several ambulances requested to Park City Center Mall in Lancaster, Pennsylvania for a shooting with several victims. Police are actively searching for several suspects. The mall is being searched by armed officers at this time," United States News Block tweeted.

The owner of one of the stores said a man amid the dispute pulled out a gun, and the another man shot him after he lost his handle on the weapon.

“Everything went so fast,” said Hana Ali, the owner of the Tabarek Al-Hana store. “We were scared so we we’re hiding behind my register.”

Two suspects were taken into custody. The mall was closed until Monday.

“We are saddened and angered by the unfortunate, isolated incident that happened in our shopping center today,” said Lindsay Kahn of Brookfield Property Partners, which owns the Park City Center, according to Lancaster Online.

“Our highest priority right now is the well being of our guests and tenants.”
