Florida Advent Health System ended vaccine mandate due to staff shortages

319

The 83,000 employees of Advent Health System based in Florida no longer need to be vaccinated to keep their jobs. Advent Health said in an official statement that Covid-19 vaccine status would still have to be registered.

The statement says that the decision was made on the basis of federal court orders, but mortality statistics are also a factor.

The deadliest week in Florida was recorded from October 23rd to 30th. During that period, 7,200 people died from Covid, but here's the strangeness, more than half, about 4,700 people were elderly people with the status of "fully vaccinated".

The question of why 65 percent of fully vaccinated people aged 65 and older of the total deaths from Covid-19 die remains open.
