Political refugees from Russia were shot at the US border while trying to break through
According to Russian Telegram channels, a group of 20 people, presumably natives of the North Caucasus, tried to cross the US border in several cars, making their way through Mexico.
The photo and video from the scene show the moment of entry to the US checkpoint. The men speak Russian. Judging by their conversation, only one of them knows English.
While talking to a CBP officer, they ask for political asylum and the video is cut off at the officer's request to stop filming.
From screenshots of their correspondence, it is known that the group of refugees consisted of about 20 people. 3 people were shot while trying to break through the border. According to other information, there were no casualties.
