Google will fire all employees who refuse to get vaccinated
Google executives sent out a memo to all 150,000 employees demanding proof of full vaccination by January 18 or they face a series of disciplinary punishments up to and including termination of employment.
Google announced mandatory vaccinations, citing a decree from US President Joe Biden.
It is reported that during the entire period of the Covid-19 pandemic, Google sent all of its employees to remote work, but a total vaccination could help employees return to their offices.
The document said employees who haven’t complied with the vaccination rules by the Jan. 18 deadline will be placed on “paid administrative leave” for 30 days. After that, the company will put them on “unpaid personal leave” for up to six months, followed by termination, according to the memo obtained by CNBC.
Earlier, Google played a huge role in the election of a Democrat to the presidency of the United States. After Biden's victory in the elections, the Google lobbyist got into the ranks of close advisers at the White House.
