Florida man banned from United Airline flight for wearing thong for a face mask
A Florida man was taken off a United Airlines flight for reportedly wearing a red thong instead of a face mask while bordering a flight.
The incident took place on Florida-Washington DC flight Wednesday morning. It all was captured on camera.
The video shows Adam Jenne being booted off a plane at Fort Lauderdale Airport. Jenne said it wasn’t his first time when he used a thong as a face mask to protest the federal mask mandate.
“It’s all nonsense,” Jenne said of the mask requirement aboard planes.
“COVID doesn’t know that we’re at cruising altitude. It’s stupid. The whole thing is theater,” he fumed.
“Every single flight has been met with different reactions from the flight crew,” he told the news outlet.
“Some with a wild appreciation, others confrontational.”
After being booted off the plane, other passengers got up and followed.
“Everything else that has sparked change in this country has started from everyday people. Rosa Parks wasn’t famous. She changed the course of history.” However, United Airlines wasn’t amused. “The customer clearly wasn’t in compliance with the federal mask mandate and we appreciate that our team addressed the issue on the ground prior to takeoff, avoiding any potential disruptions on the air,” the airline said in a statement.
