NYC COVID inspector kicked out of restaurant because he didn't show proof of vaccination
Owners of Big Nose Kate's Saloon and Eatery on Staten Island ousted inspector Covid because the woman refused to provide proof of vaccination.
“I don’t understand how you’re coming here enforcing something and not cooperating with the very thing that you’re trying to enforce,” Maggie Koronilian, 38, told The Post on Friday how she had to boot the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene employee.
According to Koronilian, the requirement to provide proof of vaccination is a common event and all restaurant customers cooperate. The inspector was refused because she considered herself above the law.
“As she’s looking through the paperwork, I just looked at her and I said, ‘You know, you’re not above the law,'” recalled Koronilian.
According to the latest statistics, New York tops the list of the most vaccinated states, however, it was in this state that the largest outbreak of Covid-19 in the entire pandemic was recorded yesterday.
