A Texas mother charged for allegedly stuffing her son in the car trunk for isolation as he tested positive for COVID-19.

41-year-old Sarah Beam allegedly packed up her 12-year-old son and drive him to a drive-thru COVID testing center at Ken Pridgeon Stadium on January 3.

When she already was at the tent of the testing center the people witnesses some strange noises coming out of the back of her car.

The teenager was discovered inside the trunk of the car when a health service director at the site asked Beam to open the trunk.

She explained that she was trying to keep her son isolated.

“(The mother) stated that she put (her son) inside the trunk to prevent her from getting exposed to possible COVID while driving (him) to the stadium for additional testing,” the filing says.

The Cypress Fairbanks ISD Police Department said a warrant was issued for Beam’s arrest Friday on child endangerment charges.
