14-year-old teen violently beaten by a group of suspects on Bronx street
A group of mugs attacked a 14-year-old boy on a Bronx street in the incident that was caught on camera, police said.
The merciless attack took place on the corner of Southern Blvd. and E. 174th St around 3 p.m. Wednesday. Two men approached the guy before hitting and throwing him against a fence.
The boy attempted to escape but the was hit in the stomach. Then the duo forced him to a light pole and then threw him down on the ground.
Three other suspects then join the beat down. The assault is continuing with more punches and kicks while the victim is still on the ground.
One of the attackers then steals the boy’s cellphone.
No arrests have been made, police said.
The victim was treated in Jacoby Medical for a broken nose.
Cops on Saturday released surveillance video of the attack and asked that anyone with information about the muggers call NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
