Molotov cocktail sparks Queens blaze in revenge for drug deal gone bad two firefighters hospitalized
NYPD are seeking for an arsonist who threw a Molotov cocktail into a Queens apartment in an apparent revenge for a drug deal that went wrong.
Two firefighters responded to the flame caused by the Molotov cocktail were hospitalized.
The suspect arsonist reportedly climbed a fire escape of an apartment building on Parsons Blvd. at about 4:40 a.m. and hurled what tuned out to be a Molotov cocktail into a sixth-floor apartment.
As the result of the fire caused by that three apartment were damaged. The fire spread to the floor above.
The fire was brought to the control in an hour. Two firefighters suffered smoke inhalation and were hospitalized.
The arsonist is still at large. Two men who were inside the targeted apartment were charged with drug charges. One or both of the men are drug associates of the arsonist, the sources said.
