Yellow cab fatally hit a man trying to cross expressway in NYC

A man fatally struck by a yellow car while trying to cross the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, polce said.
The incident happened around 6:45 Saturday when the 69-year-old man tried to walk across the highway near Broadway’s exit 40 in Woodside, Queens.
At one point, a yellow car hit him. The impact created a spider web crack in the cab’s windshield.
The man, whose name was no released, was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The 53-year-old cabbie remained at the scene and faced no immediate charges. He suffered minor injuries.
