Delta Airlines wants to ban flights for the passengers who violate orders on flights of passenger liners

Delta Airlines offers to ban the flights for the people who violated the orders on flights.

The company has sent a letter to the US Department of Justice with a proposal to impose a ban on flights for persons who violated the order on flights of passenger liners.

Meanwhile, Ed Bastian, CEO Delta Airlines, noted that the number of such incidents on Delta Airlines flights has almost doubled since 2019.

"Zero tolerance will prevent incidents in the future and will serve as a powerful example of the consequences of disobeying the instructions of crew members on commercial flights," Bastian stressed in a letter quoted by AP.

Together with its industry partner Airlines for America, Delta has been advocating tougher measures against citizens undermining flight safety since last year.

The airline added about 1,900 people to the list of persons not allowed to fly for refusing to wear protective masks, and handed over the names of more than 900 people from this list to the Transport Security Department for taking administrative measures against them.
