"Hero To Zero": Documentary show how first responders and teachers face and fight vaccine mandates in California
A new documentary released by the Daily Caller details the fight that the first responders and teachers in California lead against the COVID-19 vaccine mandate in the state.
The documentary titles “Hero to Zero” depicts a deeper look at how the law enforcement, firefighters and the educators have lost their “heroes” status since the beginning of the pandemic for defying the COVID-19 vaccination.
In the trailer of the documentary, one firefighter is referring to his boss by saying, “You know you’re just a number, we can just get rid of you and replace you like that.”
“Home of heroes,” a nurse said in the trailer. “A year later, that ‘h’ is a ‘z’ and it’s a home of zeroes.”
Back in October 2021, Beverly Hills firefighters, California, rallied against COVID-19 vaccine mandates ahead of LA county’s deadline for county workers to get vaccinated. One firefighter reportedly said he and five other firefighters were denied religious exemptions.
“I have children that ten years from now when they decide that, you know, something else has to be mandated, I mean, these mandates are never going to stop,” another firefighter said in the trailer. “And my children look at me and go, ‘Hey, you were there. What did you do, why didn’t you stand up, why didn’t you fight back?’ I can’t look them in the face and say I did everything I could in order to stop that.”
