Mora-Rojas killed all his three kids and another person in a room of the main sanctuary. A church worker heard gunshots upstairs and called 911. It is unclear whether the fourth victim was a churchgoer or a church worker.
"We are actively monitoring the shooting at a church in Sacramento and working closely with local law enforcement," tweeted the Office of California Governor Gavin Newsom. "Our thoughts are with the community, parishioners, and all those impacted by this horrific event."
The gunmen then fatally shot himself, reports say.
