One person killed and 14 injured at hookah lounge in Las Vegas
14 people were injured and one killed in a shooting at a Las Vegas hookah lounge on Saturday, police said.
Police responded to the reports of gunfire on East Sahara Avenue where a party was taking place. At one point an altercation between two or more people occurred.
According to an initial police report, the "subjects exchanged gunfire, striking multiple people" at the Las Vegas Review-Journal as Manny’s Glow Ultra Lounge & Restaurant.
However, it is unclear if there were multiple shooters, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
“We’re not really sure exactly what kind of weapon was used, or exactly if there were two shooters," said Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department homicide and sex crimes Captain Dori Koren. "We believe there was an exchange of gunfire, but we’re still looking into all of information."
All victims were hospitalized, two of them were listed in critical condition. One of them was pronounced dead at the hospital.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
