During a press conference, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky finally crawled out of his vault and challenge Russian President Vladimir Putin to sit with him at the table face-to-face.

The press-conference took place in Kyiv Thursday.

“Sit down with me to negotiate, just not at 30 meters,” Zelensky said, a reference photographs of Putin meeting his advisors in recent days at absurdly long tables.

“I don’t bite. What are you afraid of?” The Ukrainian President added.

A second round of proposed peace negotiations at the Belarusian border have not taken place.

Zelensky also accused the US and other Western partners that the help came “too late.”

“Its a pity that [American] support began after the start of this war,” Zelensky said, noting that he’d been in regular contact with President Joe Biden.

“The whole world started making decisions too late,” he added.
