Unknown Shooter in Aurora 1 Is Down 3 Injured

AURORA, COLORADO – May 27, 2018

One man shot dead and three others wounded after a shooting early Sunday, according to the Aurora Police Department (APD).

Sergeant Chris Neiman said a fight started inside of the nearby Kasbah Nightclub then relocated into the Highline Plaza and ended in gunfire.

"Everybody pulls their guns and start shooting anymore, it's sad. It's sad," Rod Seeba, the local, said. He added, "It's surprising, but you know it happens every day everywhere now."

"Nobody deserves to go through anything like this. Especially if we're just out here trying to have fun or whatever the case may be," Joseph Rivera, an employee at nearby Tacos Selene, said to Denver7.

APD noted there were incidents before, but nothing similar to Sunday shooting.

The police say the shooting was reported at 2:10 a.m. in the area of E. 6th Avenue and N. Helena Street. Officers arrived at scene and found four gun-wounded men. All four were transported to local hospitals. Later one of the men died.

According to the police, they are actively investigating the incident. There have been no arrests and police are still trying to figure out what leaded to the shooting.
