Peter Thiel: Gay Vampire of the New Capitalist Class
In the world of Silicon Valley there are many big names that are associated with intellectual genius and technological ingenuity: Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates etc. But in terms of sheer political influence and personal eccentricity one name stands out among them all: Peter Thiel
Thiel, age 50, was listed as number 315 on the Forbes 400 in 2017 with a net worth of 2.6 billion dollars. Thiel has worn many different hats over his long and strange career, graduating Stanford with a B.A. in 1989, after which he then went on to Stanford Law school. After graduating he worked as a law clerk, a securities lawyer, a speechwriter, and a derivatives trader.
Along with fellow billionaire Elon Musk, he founded Paypal in 1999, a company which he then sold for 1.5 billion dollars in 2002. After this windfall he went on to become one of the first major outside investors in Facebook when he bought $500,000 worth of shares. Shares he later sold for over one Billion dollars in 2012, thus adding to his already sizable fortune.
Thiel has also gone on to found or fund many other ventures such as Founders Fund, Clarium Capital, and Palantir Technologies, among others.
In addition Thiel has been unusually politically active for a corporate titan. In 2012 he gave a 1 million dollar donation to the Club for Growth, a right-leaning political advocacy organization which specializes in advancing the interests of the super rich. Thiel has also thrown his support behind a variety of Republican and Libertarian causes in the past, in particular, the candidacy of Ron Paul in 2012 and Donald Trump in 2016.
Libertarianism, in particular, has long been a hobby horse for Thiel. He was drawn to it in college and has been a devotee, on one level or another, ever since. As he described in an interview with Cato Unbound Thiel stated that he no longer believes that “freedom and democracy are compatible.”
Thiel’s contempt for democracy stems from his hatred of the common man who he refers to, contemptuously, simply as “the masses” or “the mob.” A group whom he blames for not embracing hyper capitalist and libertarian ideas, even though these ideas would negatively affect them both economically and socially.
Thiel is also an open homosexual and has, for years, aggressively advocated for its normalization within the American Republican party. Indeed, one of Thiel’s main passions in life, aside from Libertarianism, seems to be the vigorous promotion of sodomy and “anal” marriage. This passion has led him to support many homosexual causes such as the American Foundation for Equal Rights and GOPround ( a political group dedicated to advancing the interests of sexual perverts like Thiel within the apparatus of the Republican party). He also invited Ann Coulter to “Homocon” in 2010 to give a speech to his gay republican friends.
No doubt Libertarianism’s embrace of sodomy and other sexual perversions has been a main driving force behind Thiel’s attraction to the ideology.
But homosexuality and sodomy haven’t been Thiel’s only obsessions. He has also become quite interested in extreme and immoral technologies, many of which seem like they come from the world of science fiction. “Life extension,” in particular, has become a major obsession of Thiel.
As Thiel said in his interview with Cato Unbound: “I stand against confiscatory taxes, totalitarian collectives, and the ideology of the inevitability of the death of every individual.” Put another way: Peter Thiel is afraid to die.
This obsession and fear of his own inevitable death has lead Thiel to turn to bizarre technologies which claim to offer wealthy individuals like himself the ability to stave off (or potentially avoid entirely) the very fact of biological death itself.
Thiel confessed to Bloomberg in 2014 that he was taking human growth hormone in an effort to live to be at least 120 years old. More ominously, he has also, according to reports, been experimenting with “parabiosis” (aka: injecting himself with the blood of teenagers in hopes of obtaining the health benefits of “young blood”). Thus making him, quite literally, a vampire.
Thiel’s obsession with extracting the life essence of the young in order to further his own greedy and perverse ends is, ultimately, quite consistent with his professed hyper-capitalist ideology. An ideology shared by the likes of his former business partner Elon Musk, who has attempted to pull the wool over the eyes of the working class by insisting that technological innovations will somehow improve their lot, even while these same “innovations” continue to destroy their jobs and livelihoods via automation.
Ultimately Thiel desires a return of a kind of neo-feudalism, in which society will be ruled over by an elite of Silicon Valley technocrats and homosexuals who live gilded lives inside a golden bubble of advanced technology while the rest of the population (the 99 percent of non-elites) are relegated to lives of serfdom and poverty.
Thiel is thus the perfect avatar for America’s out of touch and sexually depraved elite class: a gay vampire with delusions of grandeur who is more than willing to prey upon the American people if he thinks it will increase his lifespan or help his bottom line.
