MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA — May 30, 2018
Police and emergency responders took four people to the hospital after a Federal Aviation Administration office in Minneapolis received a letter containing suspicious substances.
According to an FBI spokesman, nobody knows where the letter came from and to whom it was addressed.
A statement from the FAA stated that employees in this building oversee aircraft certification, security, pilot licensing and regulatory compliance.
It was determined that there was no immediate danger to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport after the incident and operations will continue as normal.
The FBI is currently determining exactly what substance was contained in the letter.
