Somebody Tries to Silence Former U.S. Marine Lieutenant Colonel Blowing the Whistle on Fast and Furious

On October 3, 2018, photos with threats to former U.S. Marine Colonel Matt Smith-Meck were published on the Twitter account of independent journalist Matt Couch. Matt Smith-Meck was one of the key figures in the Fast and Furious scandal in 2016 and together with Robert Tosh Plumlee helped to expose information about the U.S.’s ties to ISIS.

Matt Couch, the host of the America First Media Group, an independent Media Organization “fighting for the truth in American news and politics,” recently posted the tweet:
“We are working on multiple cases across America, we’re honored to work with Colonel Meck and others to get the truth out. We’re going to shine the light on all of these corrupt bastards.”

Recall that Lt. Col. Matt Smith-Meck conducted his own investigation of Fast and Furious, a U.S. operation funneling weapons into other countries, and alleged that there was a connection between Fast and Furious and the Middle East. He also spoke to InfoWars radio host Alex Jones several times, repeatedly claiming that Fast and Furious was a “part of a much larger international gun-running operation.”
Matt Cough’s followers on Twitter were not indifferent to the situation, asking to get Smith-Meck into a protective environment as soon as possible.
