EASTERN DISTRICT OF VIRGINIA – October 19, 2018

The fruitless investigation led by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and US Special Counsel Robert Mueller into “Russian meddling” looks like a bad stand-up act, where everyone’s getting sick of the predictable jokes, especially when you realize that the main conspirator is Richard Pinedo, who “sold hundreds of real persons’ bank account numbers to anonymous customers on the internet,” according to the government’s sentencing memorandum.

This shameful result of Mueller’s 16-month of probe, which has already cost taxpayers over $17 million, clearly shows the deep crisis in prosecution, defense services, and the judiciary in the US. The Justice Department is desperately seeking new approaches.

On Friday, the Office of Public Affairs of the Justice Department released a new portion of accusations against Russia, targeting Elena Alekseevna Khusyaynova, a St. Petersburg woman who prosecutors say helped manage the finances of a mysterious but almighty Russian social media effort aimed at interfering in the US political system, including the 2018 midterm elections, (and all future elections as well).

FBI Director Christopher Wray made the announcement after the charges were unsealed:

“This case serves as a stark reminder to all Americans: Our foreign adversaries continue their efforts to interfere in our democracy by creating social and political division, spreading distrust in our political system, and advocating for the support or defeat of particular political candidates,” said Wray.

“We take all threats to our democracy very seriously, and we’re committed to working with our partners to identify and stop these unlawful influence operations. Together, we must remain diligent and determined to protect our democratic institutions and maintain trust in our electoral process.”

According to allegations in the criminal complaint, Elena Alekseevna Khusyaynova, 44, of St. Petersburg, Russia, served as the chief accountant of Project Lakhta, which includes multiple components, some involving domestic audiences within the Russian Federation and others targeting foreign audiences in the United States, members of the European Union, and Ukraine, among others. Well, why not the whole world and even the universe, though?

The truth is that Elena Alekseevna Khusyaynova is CFO of the USA Really news agency and its parent organization, Federal News Agency. This is her only “crime.” The disgusting, monstrous octopus stretching its arms to choke free speech and independent journalism panicked upon hearing USA Really’s voice of truth that it tries to hush up through the hegemony of conventional American media.

This is not the first time USA Really’s managers are being targeted.

In September, the Verge named USA Really’s chief editor Alexander Malkevich as the founder of the Internet Research Agency, and we are still waiting for an apology from the Verge for their lies and false accusations. Various “cybersecurity experts” are chasing USA Really’s authors and team everywhere around the web. The mass media tracks down our staff as if they are criminals, reporting USA Really’s Facebook group and page, deleting and editing USA Really’s employees private Facebook accounts, closing down all our affiliated channels on SoundCloud, Tumblr, Google, Apple, Youtube, Instagram, Twitter etc. Well done, Director Wray. Your team is doing a great job.

“The investigative team received exceptional cooperation from private sector companies, such as Facebook and Twitter,” the Justice Department acknowledged.

“The criminal complaint does not include any allegation that Khusyaynova or the broader conspiracy had any effect on the outcome of an election. The complaint also does not allege that any American knowingly participated in the Project Lakhta operation,” DOJ concluded.

“I submit there is probable cause to believe that, from at least 2014 to the present, Elena Alekseevna Khusyaynova, has violated Title 18 Unites States Code, Section 371,” special FBI agent David Holt wrote.

Conspiracy against the United States, or conspiracy to defraud the United States, is a federal offense in the United States of America under 18 USC. § 371. The crime is when’’ two or more persons who conspire to commit an offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States.

However, “A criminal complaint contains allegations that a defendant has committed a crime. Every defendant is presumed to be innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law,” the DOJ reminded.

This is a very convenient position, especially when you have zero evidence of “Russian meddling,” while knowing how the US government interferes in the affairs of other countries. If you are an FBI/CIA/CI agent, independent journalist, writer, activist, and you have any such information of US interference, please submit it for our written contest.
