Our opinion piece today touches on the ever present and thorny issue of race: “Consquences for a National Minority Seeking Political Office in America” by Luis Lázaro Tijerina. This piece brings you the story of the tragic plight of African American Kiah Morris and how she paid a fearful price for running for elected state office in Vermont. Winning a legislative seat in Vermont in 2014, she would leave that positon after she and her family were constantly threatened, harassed with racist threats, and ultimately she resigned as a legislator in 2016. After hearing about what she endured in Vermont for being a very sincere political activist, Tijerina realized her humiliation is a harbinger of the worst to come for national minority candidates who sought office from even a progressive political position, let alone running for office as an establishment Democrat. There was an even a break-in at her home, and death threats. Then mix in some racially-charged political ads this election season and you’ve got a terrible but captivating story. Check it out!

As always, let’s get the news rolling with a look back, in our “This Day in History” piece. It looks like this was a busy day for the American Revolution. Big events went down this day three years in a row, from 1774 to 1776. On October 26, 1774, the First Continental Congress, which would become the governing body of the U.S. during the Revolution, ended its work in Philadelphia. The Congress was convened in response to the Intolerable Acts that were passed by Great Britain’s Parliament the same year, and the delegates agreed to organize an economic boycott of the metropolis. They also petitioned King George III for a redress of grievances. This gathering included Founding Fathers like George Washington, Patrick Henry, and John Adams. On this date back in 1775, King George III went before the British Parliament to state that the thirteen American colonies were in rebellion, and thus the decision was made to send the British Army to suppress the insurgents. On this date back in 1776, one of the Founding Fathers of America, political theorist, philosopher, scientist, and inventor Benjamin Franklin went to France to seek support to counteract Great Britain, which eventually led to significant French military and economic support given to the rebels. And on this day in 2001, the Patriot Act was passed. A lot of people thought it was a good idea then, but opinions have certainly diverged since then. What’s your take on it? You can tell us in your comments on this piece.

Then we’ve got two pieces on Helga Zepp-LaRouche, the founder of the Schiller Research Institute NGO think tank, who held a panel discussion at the Russian Federation Committee for the Development of Information Society two days ago. In her speech, she focused on the future of the conflict between Russia and the United States and offered confirming information on the role Britain has played in corrupting Russian-American relations. She believes that in 2016, Democrats, with the help of British intelligence services, conducted an operation to impact the results of the US presidential election in favor of Hillary Clinton. This is precisely the reason for the hysteria of the “respected” mainstream media and some politicians, mostly from the Democratic camp, regarding Russia's interference in the American elections. If true, this is pretty major news! Get all the details in this piece and keep your eye out for any updates!

Well, and Zepp-LaRouche also declared that globalists are ready to destroy the world to preserve their power. For those who be even somewhat woke, this is really no surprise. As she says, globalists, who had been in power for more than 40 years, suddenly lost their positions in the most important country – the United States – allowing Trump to win the Presidency. Moreover, this then immediately weakened the position of globalists in Europe. The leaders of such "protest" moods are Italy, Hungary, and Austria. And in Germany and France, the voices of those who are not satisfied with the current situation are growing. Globalists see this as a threat to their position and are ready to make any effort to retain power. There is no crime that they would not commit for this. Only the combined efforts of the leaders of 4 world powers (USA, Russia, China and India) will help the world to avoid history developing into such a negative scenario, she says. Head on over here for her insightful commentary on how this could or should all play out.

Welp, and Megyn Kelly has become the latest victim of the insanity of the Left, claiming she’s a racist because she said in her childhood it was acceptable to dress up as people of other races for Halloween. In what bloody world is that shocking or offensive to say?! Basically, political censorship two weeks before the elections is gaining speed on an unprecedented scale and unprecedented scope. We were really shocked with the news of the dismissal of the honest and frank journalist Megyn Kelly. USA Really prides itself on being an honest outlet, where people can truly say what they believe, and well, we’re inviting Megyn Kelly to come work for us!

And for those of you interested in the ongoing story about Yandex shares—more bad news, unfortunately, as stock prices have dropped to a 52-week low. On October 24, shares of Yandex NV generated a change of -3.62% and closed at $25.81, showing billions of losses since last Thursday, when it all started. Monday showed another 2% drop in the Russian Tech giant share price. Since September, Yandex shares have gone down almost 20%. That definitely sucks for anyone holding Yandex shares! I actually have a buddy who works there and was kinda banking on Yandex stocks to help him get an apartment. For his sake, and people like him, I sure hope things can get turned around!

And did you know? The U.S. economic growth in the past year and a half is largely associated with the state's defense spending. So says a Wall Street Journal analysis of Commerce Department data. Analysts concluded that the economy has grown by 2.9% in annual terms since April 2017, which is higher than in the previous eight years, with faster government spending accounting for nearly half of the acceleration. The U.S. military budget for 2019 has grown significantly, as the Pentagon has insisted on the need for modernization — hence the contracts received by defense companies. Well, if tracking the economy and counting them dollah bills is your thing, check out this piece for more facts and figures.

And we hope you’re ready to get bundled up this winter, cause the Farmers’ Almanac is predicting a colder and harsher winter than initially expected. States from Montana across to Minnesota and down to Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri need to prepare for “teeth-chattering cold.” Even the southern states are in for a harsh winter with Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Arkansas told they could expect normal snowfall but “stinging cold.” The Almanac has been in circulation for a long time, and even though they use mysterious and perhaps antiquated methods for predicting the weather, they’re often right. So take heed!

And Google, that bastion of liberal glory and wonder, has had to fire 48 people for sexual harassment. Although, I guess, considering how big a buttload of employees they must have, 48 is probably not so many. The number does include 13 senior managers, though, so that’s interesting. But we give you here the story of one employee where it’s not clear what happened. Some say he was fired for sexual no-nos, and others that he just left to do launch his own venture. We also have some important info on workplace harassment, so head on over to this piece for everything you need to know.

Well, that’s all we have for you today. Be sure to keep an eye on USA Really over the weekend to get all the latest updates on all the freshest news. As always, thanks for listening, thanks for reading, and keep it right here for all the news you need to know.
