New California State Activists’ Last Call for 3rd Constitutional Convention
ROSEVILLE, CALIFORNIA – January 25, 2019
The Organizing Committee invites all Californians to join the delegates of the New California state movement as they come together this Saturday for the third time to construct the New California State Constitution.
“Participate in History and join the delegates of the New California State movement as they convene to celebrate the first anniversary of their Declaration of Independence from California. The Convention is convening to continue the construction of the New California State Constitution and pass critical legislation to further establish New California State. Guest speaker is Kevin Snider, Chief Counsel for the Pacific Justice Institute will be providing guidance from his expertise in Constitutional Law and Civil Rights. We encourage you to join us in this historic event for New California State,” the invitation reads.
New California is a new state in development exercising its constitutional right to form from the state of California as codified under Article IV Section 3 of the United States Constitution and in the United States Declaration of Independence. The activists believe the current California state government will soon face a fiscal crisis. When it happens, the movement will negotiate with the current state legislature and make a financial deal with it, using the rich natural resources of the new state.
According to a statement released, New California is following the US Constitutional process for the formation of a new state. On January 15th, 2018, New California declared its Independence from California. At the 1st Constitutional Convention on July 21, 2018, New California convened its Legislatures for the first time and passed their first resolutions: the adoption of the revised Preamble to the New California Constitution and voted for the leadership of the Senate and Assembly. Since that time, the Legislative branches have been working on the New California State's Constitution which is being composed using the "best" from constitutions of the other 50 States. At the 2nd Constitutional Convention held October 5-6, the Legislative branches prepared the framework for the New California State Constitution and now comes the 3rd Constitutional Convention January 26, 2019 in Roseville, CA.
“We will be celebrating our first year anniversary of the Declaration of Independence with the Legislatures and County Committee Leadership as well as conducting legislative business,” event organizers say. To join the event which will take place at Roseville Veterans Hall, 110 Park Dr, Roseville, CA 95678, visitors should be registered at the movement’s website.
“We are not just constitutionalist. We are the original constitutionalists,” said Paul Preston, the founder of the New California state movement, USA Really reported earlier this month.
