Low-Quality CNN News Blunders. Part 1.1

TEXAS – March 20, 2019

As long as black people remain the constant victims of relentless white racism, the police should not prosecute them, juries should not sentence them, judges should not impose punishment on them, schools should not punish them, and white victims should not complain about the crime and violence committed by black people.

That is what legislators, scientists and, of course, reporters increasingly say today, seeing it as a recipe for "improving the justice system."

You’ll see and hear this everywhere if you pay attention. White people, who make up about 75% of the population in the US, have a lot of accusations being thrown against them. Yes, there was slavery in our history, but it was not invented here and it is no longer practiced here as it still is in some African and Muslim countries. Don’t forget we had a war to stop slavery. More than 150 years have passed since the Emancipation Declaration and the lives of black people today no longer depends on yesterday’s slave owners, but rather on today’s ill-fated black leaders who intentionally keep their constituents on imaginary plantations, forcing them to continue to perceive themselves as victims.

For reference, ". . . on the first day of January . . . all persons held as slaves within any State, or designated part of a State, the people whereof shall then be in rebellion against the United States shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free." President Abraham Lincoln, preliminary Emancipation Proclamation, September 22, 1862.

President Lincoln issued the preliminary Emancipation Proclamation in the midst of the Civil War, announcing on September 22, 1862, that if the rebels did not end the fighting and rejoin the Union by January 1, 1863, all slaves in the rebellious states would be free.

Insisting that black people today are victims of white racism and white "priority," black politicians like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan and Maxine Waters, to name a few, have not only developed a worldview, requiring the provision of black privilege, but have also created dependency and helplessness, especially common among young blacks in poor areas of American cities.

This policy is followed not only by representatives of black minorities, but also by government officials, the police, and the media. CNN said white men account for 69% of those arrested for violent crimes.

As it has been repeatedly noted, statistics on population and victims of violence and cruelty, including those coming from the police, lie. We are constantly faced with biased data, compiled from police or state opinions, that cannot be considered objective.

See the chart below.

Low-Quality CNN News Blunders. Part 1.1

It shows the white population of the United States is between 31 and 71% from ages 0-4 to 85+, with Hispanics ranging from 40 to 16%.

Black people make up 12.7% for ages 15-17 and 12.3% for ages 45-54.

It is based on such data that CNN and other outlets write that more crimes are committed by white people. It seems the reporters couldn’t bother to get well acquainted with the graph.

Another graph shows the changing face of America (population by race and ethnicity) from 1960 to 2060. Again, we cannot judge what will happen in 30 or 50 years, but even such meager statistics show white people at 43% and Hispanics at 31%. And this data is estimated to relate to 2060. It is worth noting that in the period since 1960, the figure fell from 85 to 43%, by more than half.

It is also worth noting that if now the indicator is supposedly 75%, it is unlikely it will fall by only 1% until 2060. Most likely it will be about 10% or higher.

The U.S. Census Bureau says "America is heading toward the day when whites will no longer make up the majority of the population... The agency also says the overall U.S. population will grow older — and grow more slowly — in coming years."

By around 2020, "more than half of the nation's children are expected to be part of a minority race or ethnic group," the Census Bureau says, putting Americans under the age of 18 at the front of a trend that will see the overall population follow suit some 20 years later.

"When that shift for the U.S. as a whole takes place by 2044, the Census Bureau predicts no one racial or ethnic group will dominate the U.S. in terms of size," NPR's Hansi Lo Wang reports. "Overall, the U.S. population is set to grow more slowly over the next few decades partly because of declining fertility rates. It's expected to hit 400 million by 2051."

Note that the forecast lists several changes America will undergo in the next 45 years.

Here we see completely different data despite that the first showed the reduction will be only 1%.

Finally now we have reached the number of crimes committed by white or black people.

We often see such headlines:

Or such:

Or such:

And so on.

Did you see the difference? Why do some point out black violence, others politically-correctly write about a person's murder without any other points, and still others try to explain the causes of murders, violence and multiple statistics? Why the headlines? To roughly estimate the number, significance and strength of crimes committed by black or white or police, to calculate and produce their own statistics without relying on the so-called CNN facts.

So, approximately 34 million crimes were committed in the United States in 1992, which is about 94,000 crimes a day, according to the Department of Justice. In fact, nobody knows the true number, because many, if not most, are simply not reported. However, it is known that the national crime rate has tripled in the last 30 years, and at least 71% of violent crimes are related to economic damage. Race and ethnicity are in second place.
