Former Olympian Bode Miller's 19-month-old Daughter Drowned

The little daughter of the Olympic skier Bode Miller and a volleyball player Morgan Beck, drowned in a pool.

According to the police, it occured around 6:30 p.m. when somebody had called to 911. It's known that the child's parents were partying at a neighbor's home when their 19-month-old girl had disappeared.

The mother and a neighbor began looking for her. And discovered the toddler's body in the pool. Morgan Beck jumped in after her. They all tried to resuscitate the child as they were waiting for emergency personnel to arrive.

The babygirl was taken to Mission Hospital in grave condition. Though she was treated by paramedics at the scene, she did not survive.

"We are beyond devastated. Our baby girl, Emmy, passed away yesterday. Never in a million years did we think we would experience a pain like this. Her love, her light, her spirit will never be forgotten. Our little girl loved life and lived it to its fullest everyday. Our family respectfully requests privacy during this painful time." wrote Miller about the daughter death in his Instagram.

Miller also has three other children.
