Transgender people accuse politicians of incompetence: Candidates for elections in 2020 cannot distinguish trans men from trans women

The Democratic Party, which desperately seeks to provide more rights and empower all existing minorities in the United States, makes one ridiculous mistake after another. Democratic presidential candidate Julián Castro, made a reservation when he wanted to support trans men’s right to abortion. Instead, when asked about reproductive health care, he replied that all women, including transgender women, deserve to receive this help.
LGBTQ reporter Katelyn Burns instantly reacted to such a large gap in knowledge about the transgender community. Katelyn explained that trans women were originally born as men and, accordingly, do not need such medical care.
I don’t even know why we’re bothering to run a presidential campaign, I was already told I singlehandedly re-elected Trump by asking Dems to know the difference between trans women and trans men in this piece this week.https://t.co/UJOkKC8QIp

"We’re looking for candidates who know that trans women are women and trans men are men and nonbinary people are nonbinary, and we all have our own political needs, as Castro seemed to want to acknowledge, even if he didn’t get it right," said Katelyn Burns according to politico.
“Last night I misspoke – it’s trans men, trans masculine, and non-binary folks who need full access to abortion and repro healthcare. And I’m grateful to ALL trans and non-binary folks for their labor in guiding me on this issue,” Castro clarified the day after the debate.
I don’t believe in only reproductive freedom, i believe in reproductive justice. All women -- and that includes the trans community -- have the right to an abortion. #DemDebate

Thank you, Charlotte! Last night I misspoke - it’s trans men, trans masculine, and non-binary folks who need full access to abortion and repro healthcare. And I'm grateful to ALL trans and non-binary folks for their labor in guiding me on this issue. (1/2) https://t.co/SBCLCxZ3fL
