Armed to the teeth anti-fascist attacked the ICE detention center
Tacoma, Washington, July 13 - Willem Van Spronsen, around 4 am, attacked the ICE detention center in Tacoma. Four police arrived at the call and opened fire, Spronsen died on the scene because of the wounds sustained.
According to the officers, Van Spronsen tried to provoke an explosion of a propane tank, for which he set fire to his car. The attacker also had a rifle and a bag with flares.
According to preliminary data, the police turned to the violator, but he did not react and then they shot him. It is also reported by the authorities that there were no body cameras on the officers, so the investigation will use surveillance cameras located around the building.
It is known that none of the policemen was hurt. And today, according to the procedure, all four have been sent on paid administrative leave.
Seattle Times talked to his girlfriend of the deceased, Deb Bartley. She described Van Spronsen as very aggressive, "anti-fascist and anarchist."
“He was ready to end it,” Bartley said. “I think this was a suicide".
