CBP agents repel another massive illegal attack through the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge
Texas, July 20 - In the early morning, around 4 am, the border guard noticed more than 50 people approaching a closed bridge. Illegal immigrants were aggressively disposed and attempted to cross the specially exposed barriers.
According to the parties to the conflict, several people from the crowd gave instructions to others how to attack the barricades. The orders of the frontier guards were ignored, therefore the security forces used tear gas.
"Ignoring commands to stop, the group suddenly rushed the temporary barricades, bent metal poles and disabled the concertina wire affixed to the barrier,” the official said.
According to a statement by officials, the two attackers were detained and more than ten more were charged with involvement in illegal activities. The remaining illegals managed to remove from the bridge.
After negotiations between representatives of the United States and Mexico, it was decided that the conditions in all shelters in Mexico would be improved for citizens awaiting permission to enter the United States.
