A gang of black teens attempted a burglary: a homeowner shot a 14-year-old criminal in the head
Another high-profile attack by a group of black teenagers resulted in the murder of one gang member in Lake County. According to the 75-year-old homeowner, hearing a noise from the street, he went out to see with a loaded revolver. At this time, five robbers broke into his car, and the sixth with a knife in his hands was approaching the victim.
Frightened by the approaching carnage against him and his wife, the man, whose name was kept secret in the investigation, shot several times in the direction of the attacker.

After escaping from the shooting site, a gang of juvenile delinquents stumbled upon policemen near at Route 132 and Hunt Club Road and “dropped” a wounded 14-year-old boy and one 17-year-old accomplice.
