Shell blackmails its employees: Attend Trump's Speech or lose their salaries
During his 2020 election campaign, Donald Trump faced many scandals, but his next trick went beyond understanding. It is reported that the speech in Pennsilvania, in which the current president urged the electorate to vote for him, was accompanied by blackmail of all Shell petrochemical plant employees.
According to an internal order sent to all Shell employees, they could not be absent from the speech of the US president, without a good reason. They were ordered to all come and not protest during Trump's speech, this meant that any shout or any sign of protest would be punished by company management. Those who still did not go to the show were deprived of payments for overtime hours.
«Your attendance is not mandatory. This will be considered an excused absence. However, those who are NOT in attendance will not receive overtime pay on Friday,» according to memo.
Later, many who did not want to attend the president’s speech were asked to take paid leave on that day, which also excludes overtime pay.
