Vendor of children: Texas woman goes to jail for 6 years for selling children
A glaring story has occurred in Texas. According to the allegations, a woman named Esmerelda Garza of Corpus Christi sold her son for 2 and a half thousand dollars, claiming that she needed to pay off a drug debt.
The police, during a search of her home, found three more children, seven, two and three years old. According to the convict, these three were also preparing for sale.
In addition to selling children, Garza was charged with money laundering and buying children in state prisons. The investigation is currently finding out all of her accomplices, since this cannot be a “one-time case”; according to the investigation, this is a well-planned syndicate using children as a commodity. The search for accomplices in the ranks of prison workers and criminal groups continues.
To date, it is known that Esmerelda Garza entered into a plea bargain. It is clarified that two more potential buyers were detained, but their names and other information has not yet been disclosed.
