Trump's «stupid» idea of nuclear bombing hurricanes did not find support
Over the years, the US coast has been attacked by the forces of nature, creating devastating hurricanes that demolish hundreds of homes, destroying cities and claiming thousands of lives. Donald Trump tried to answer nature by deed, not by word. Another phrase by the current president of the United States, about dropping nuclear bombs into the center of a hurricane, thrown, like it's not a big deal, caused consternation of the representatives of the Department of Homeland Security.
According to a source in the White House, Donald Trump at a recent meeting proposed dropping nuclear bombs on hurricanes that formed off the coast of Africa and are heading toward the United States. It is reported that the people who were in the room at that moment were discouraged, but promised to think about this proposal.
The idea of “annihilating” deadly hurricanes arose between 1950 and 1960, but then the society of scientists refuted the soundness of this idea, citing the more catastrophic consequences of radioactive fallout after the explosion.
Also, many scientists already in the 21st century confirmed the absurdity of this idea. In particular, the popular science channel National Geographic published an article in 2017, debunking any arguments in favor of this venture.
The pressure on Trump is growing, as all Americans expect from the president some ways to prevent large-scale disasters, and not "raking in the consequences." And therefore, many officials approve that Donald Trump has come up with proposals for solving problems, since they have a good promise, but so far are not feasible.
