The Catholic Church in Pennsylvania has crippled raped and humiliated children for several decades
The Grand Jury Report, recently published, revealed all the dirty secrets of hundreds of Catholic priests in Pennsylvania. According to the report, thousands of children were abused and raped by three hundred priests.
According to court documents, the top leadership of the Roman Catholic Church for more than 70 years covered the criminals, pedophiles and perverts.
The Revs. George Zirwas, Francis Pucci, Richard Zula, Francis Luddy, and Robert Wolk - these names will forever remain in the memory of dozens of children who have been corrupted by these predators.
«During a conversation about religious statues, the priests told George to get onto a bed and remove his shirt, and strike a pose like Jesus on the cross. Then they instructed him to strip off his pants and underwear, according to a grand jury report released Tuesday by Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro.»
«In the unnerving moments that followed, George claimed that Zula or Pucci began taking photos of him on a Polaroid camera. All of the priests giggled — and then added the photos of George to a collection of photos of other teen boys.»
From this investigation, we can conclude that regular rape was carefully hidden by the higher leadership of the church. This proves once again that all the revealed names of rapist priests are only the beginning in a large-scale war against pedophilia in churches. The sad thing is that this war is being fought by the victims, and not by bona fide priests, if such still remained in the Catholic Church.
According to the Grand Jury Report, the church is just a smokescreen behind which for many years the largest criminal group has been hiding, using its status in society to conduct its perverse rituals, the victims of which are defenseless children.
Here are just a few excerpts from the report.
Over one thousand child victims were identifiable, from the church’s own records. We believe that the real number – of children whose records were lost, or who were afraid ever to come forward – is in the thousands.
Most of the victims were boys; but there were girls too. Some were teens; many were pre-pubescent. Some were manipulated with alcohol or pornography. Some were made to masturbate their assailants, or were groped by them. Some were raped orally, some vaginally, some anally. But all of them were brushed aside, in every part of the state, by church leaders who preferred to protect the abusers and their institution above all.
Priests were raping little boys and girls, and the men of God who were responsible for them not only did nothing; they hid it all. For decades. Monsignors, auxiliary bishops, bishops, archbishops, cardinals have mostly been protected; many, including some named in this report, have been promoted. Until that changes, we think it is too early to close the book on the Catholic Church sex scandal.
